"Ain't nothing more expensive than a cheap boat!" Repairs are more expensive than hoped.

An awful bottom cleaning job, a temp fuel tank, tightening the shrouds, and we finally motor the 7 miles from marina to haul out at Cabrillo Boat Shop.  And worst of all, we find out how much we're gonna have to spend to cover the most basic repairs on the bottom of our 1970 Cheoy Lee 36' sloop.  Old sailboats are awesome and we love them... but there are some harsh realities to face when facing the costs of repairing, servicing, retrofitting and more.
