How to build doors for your sailboat companion-way…

In this episode, Gillian and I take Lee Hawk out for a birthday sail to celebrate us both (the boat and I) turning 50(ish) together. It crazy to think that the boat and I are the same age more or less. Makes you think about your own mortality for sure, and the importance of upkeep and maintenance. Now that we are in a slip, I install a Noco Gen5x3 as my new shore powered battery charger. On the carpentry side of things, I build and install a new slatted cockpit deck floor, and I also design and build new wood doors for the sailboat companionway entrance! They turn out better than I thought they would, and totally fit the vibe of our classic sailboat! Thanks for stopping by and watching!
